Bubble Blaze Cheats and Tips

Bubble Blaze is a casual game developed by Outplay Entertainment which is a company that is known for other mobile games such as Alien Creeps TD, Booty Quest – Match 3 Jewels or Mystery Match. Bubble Blaze is available on both leading platforms and it has a rating of 4.1 out of 5 on Google Play and 4 and a half stars on Apple’s App Store. In order to run properly Bubble Blaze requires an Android version of at least 3.0 and for Apple devices, IOS 6 or later. Also it worth mentioning that the game has been downloaded for more than 10 million times on both platforms.
As you can realize from the title, in this game you play with bubbles. All you have to do is to drop a bubble into more bubbles and match the colors in order to remain with no bubbles – simple as that. If you are familiar with puzzle games, you will understand what I am talking about. If not, you will soon enough.

Bubble Blaze does not require a mandatory sign-up but by doing so with your Facebook or Google Play account will ensure no data loss. So, in case you decide to change your device, or for some reason you uninstall and then reinstall the game, you don’t have to start all over again, because your progress will be saved.

Luckily for those who want to show their support to the developers team, in Bubble Blaze there are implemented some micro-transactions. There are two resources, gold and gems. For passing a level you receive an amount of gems. It can be helpful for the players who will run out of lives that the lives can be bought with gold. The resources can also be bought but with real money and the price starts with $1.99 for 1200 gems or for 220 gold and it is going up to $49.99 for a 8000 (+1645 free) gold or for 50000 (+19856 free) gems. Most of the successful transactions will also provide you an ad-free game.

Cheats & Tips for Bubble Blaze

Don’t forget to swap the bubble if no color matches your current one. Click on the dragon to do so.
The boosts are pretty expensive so if you manage to grab some free ones, don’t waste them. Use when only absolutely required.
Keep an eye on your remaining moves. If the counter reaches zero, you will lose the level. At the same time, try to finish the game with as little moves as possible to get extra points.
Also, keep an eye on the bubbles line. The bubble line is slowly but steady coming down so you need to make sure you always pop the nearest bubbles first (or at least get rid of them fast).
If you have a good angle for a shot, you can try and match your bubble with same colored bubbles from behind. If this process is successful all the bubbles that are currently under will fall no matter the color.
If you don’t mind a bit of spam now and then, link your Facebook account with the game to get that 30 Gold bonus. The app will not be allowed to post on your behalf so you won’t annoy your friends (unless you want to).
If you like perfection (and naturally get 3 Stars) you need to do a lot of combo moves and get a high score each level because, like in many other casual games, the number of stars is provided by your final score.
In rounds where you have to touch Dragon Eggs with bubbles, you can use any color on the Egg. Just make sure it directly touches it.

Bubble Blaze Review

It doesn’t matter how much of a hardcore gamer you are (does this title even exist anymore?). At some point in your gaming life, you will feel the urge to play a casual rather childish game just to pass time. This “need” may strike you while at home, while in the subway or even at work but it will strike you. Fortunately, there are more and more casual games that can keep you entertained and Bubble Blaze is one of them.

There are a lot of things I like about Bubble Blaze but I will try to be short. The most interesting thing about this game is the combination of the theme and its story background. Having a friend who needs your help to get back something he lost can be a cliché but add friendly dragons and dragon eggs to this and you got yourself an awesome idea. One of the other things I appreciate about Bubble Blaze is the fact that there are different game modes (getting dragon eggs, finishing the level before the time is up and so on) and all of them are incorporated in the “campaign mode” so to speak.

In addition to this, I like that there are a lot of levels and stages you can play so the game can be tagged as anything but short. Another great feature I saw is the fact that you continuously collect some resources just by playing and you can use them lately to buy power-ups and other stuff. Usually, puzzle games lacks this. I also like the fact that even though the game is cartoonish, there aren’t any flashy menus or buttons and that everything is neat and clear to see.

In the next following lines I will briefly explain what changes I would implement to the game or what things I consider not so great about Bubble Blaze. First of all, I believe that the game should be more public-oriented. Don’t get me wrong, I hate the usual casual games spam that hides under Facebook notifications and messages but I believe that not having any at all is bad too. Getting a daily reward or a bonus for bringing new players to the game and basically every mechanism that benefit both the player and the game itself would be a great addition.

Secondly, in addition to the previous idea, I think that the game needs an achievement implementation with different challenges and milestones the user is required to reach. Finally, more like a personal opinion, I believe that the game is a bit too static. In order to make it more challenging I would change the design layout (at least for the game modes where there is a limited time) in order to make it more fluid – think of something like Zuma.
Overall, Bubble Blaze is a casual game that I would highly recommend. It is a fun experience and it has the capability of pleasing even the grumpiest persons (like me, for example). It is the perfect choice for passing time.

Ratings

Artwork: I give Bubble Blaze a rating of 8 out of 10 for its artwork. Usually, when you need to rate the visual graphics of a casual game you are more permissive than normally you would be because this genre doesn’t focus on artwork. The game’s theme is with dragons but in a very colorful and cartoonish way. Fortunately, the art design matches perfectly with it. The game is full of bright colors and funny-looking characters. The imagination of level designers is vast and you will find most of the stages entertaining. The animations effects are rudimentary but that’s normal so I can’t really complain about them. With all of this being said, Bubble Blaze is a good-looking casual game.
Music & SFX: The game gets a rating of 9 out of 10 for this segment. If earlier I mentioned the fact that for a casual game, as a developer, you don’t really need to focus on graphics, you should pay more attention to the sound department. Fortunately, the music the game has matches with the theme and creates a cartoonish atmosphere. I would have expected a more various soundtrack but I can’t complain much – what currently exists is doing a great job. The sound effects are funny, lively and hypnotize the player into wanting to play more and more (I am joking…or am I?).

Story/Originality: Bubble Blaze gets a rating of 8 out of 10 for this section. You can’t expect from a casual puzzle oriented game to have a story whatsoever and Bubble Blaze is no exception. However, there is a hint of a story or more correctly said, the game has a purpose – you need to help a strangely friendly dragon to get back his dragon eggs that are captive by angry bubbles and that is pretty weird (but original). There isn’t much to say about the game “authentic” features because there aren’t any. There are different game modes, power-ups and stuff like that but ultimately all puzzle games are looking more or less the same.
General Gameplay: Bubble Blaze gets a rating of 9 out of 10 for its gameplay. The beauty of casual games is that they don’t need any previous experience so you can fully understand how to play. You have a small tutorial at the beginning that covers anything you need to know in order to play Bubble Blaze. There aren’t any vague options or levels and everything is just straight forward – match the bubbles before you finish all your moves. The only issue I have with the gameplay is that you need to click right on your crossbow (that for some reasons shots bubbles not bolts) so you can adjust the angle. If you use a small device it will annoy you. For the time I’ve played I haven’t encountered any freezes, crashes or major bugs.
Addictiveness: I give the game a rating of 8 out of 10 for its addictiveness. Bubble Blaze has all the elements necessarily for a casual game to be considered addictive. There is even a “5 lives” system and they regenerate each 30 minutes or instantly if you buy them with gold. There are a lot of levels and from time to time there are special modes (hit the dragon eggs, finish the round before the time is up and so on) so you can say that the game has a form of diversity. The fact that the difficulty is not that hard, also helps with the addictiveness.
Overall, Bubble Blaze gets a rating of 8.4 out of 10. If titans such Candy Crush never felt challenged, I think that now is the time. Bubble Blaze has the potential to be a much played casual game.
