Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff – PeterPalooza Tips and Cheats

Here are the top 10 tips/tricks/cheats you need to know for Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff – PeterPalooza.

1. Never Pass Up a Challenge: Catch Greased-Up Deaf Guy

The conceit for the event is that Peter wants to catch Greased-Up Deaf Guy, and the only way to do that is to hold a music festival. (Why Greased-Up Deaf Guy loves music festivals, we don’t really know.) A quick overview on how events work in Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff: you’ll need to collect a bunch of glowsticks to buy stuff, then use that stuff to unlock more stuff. It just so happens that “stuff” in this event includes Snoop Dogg, Avril Lavigne, Deadmau5, and more. The more glowsticks and guitar picks you grab, the faster you’ll clear through the new content.

2. Gonna Throw a Music Festival? You’re Gonna Need Some Stars

Avril Lavigne is the first performer in the lineup. But first, you need to unlock her. Kick it off by repairing her chic seating arrangement, then collect glowsticks, guitar picks and hockey pucks from around town. The hockey pucks are rare, so if you have Lois, Herbert and Bruce unlocked, this will go a lot faster! Avril unlocks much of PeterPalooza’s new content, so she’s a good character to focus on first, along with Rockstar Peter.

3. Give a Go At Performing a Concert

One of the new features PeterPalooza brings to Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff is the ability to perform concerts. The musical guests you unlock – Avril Lavigne, Snoop Dogg, Weird Al, and others – perform, drawing adoring fans to the stage and earning you prizes. To start a concert, you have to collect stuff. Tap the concert stage to find out what all you need to inspire the performer. Once you find it all, hit “Start” to launch the show. When the show ends, you’ll earn rewards!

4. You Have a Concert! Well, Now You Need Fans

The more fans you excite with the concert, the better the rewards will be at the end. Each concert’s different, and you can view the requirements by tapping the stage after it starts. Note the timer up top: that’s how long you have to bring fans to the stage.

5. Up For Another? Perform An Encore

Every concert has an encore. (Every. Single. One. Come on, we know you’re coming back out after the last song.) Yours should be no exception! After completing a musician’s first concert, tap on the stage to view the requirements for an encore concert. Pick any available musician to play the show! This is especially useful while you’re waiting for the next musician to arrive at PeterPalooza.

6. Never Leave A Toad Untouched

Toads are a fantastic source of glowsticks! And you need them to complete the early parts of PeterPalooza. Use the “GO” button on a quest to quickly find one, and then tap to squash it.

7. Gonna Be A While: Check Each Week For More!

PeterPalooza lasts until Thursday, September 17th, ending at 6PM Eastern/3PM Pacific. You need to fully unlock any content that you want to keep by that time. TinyCo releases new content weekly during the event, so we’re likely to see new artists and performers.

8. Let Loose With The Neon Scorpion And Neon Rhino For Tons of Glowsticks

The sparkly Neon Scorpion and Neon Rhino drop 25 and 100 bonus glowsticks, respectively, every time you collect from them. They cost an up-front investment of clams, but they’ll give you a big boost in the event to unlock things more quickly. Also, it’s a giant shiny crystal scorpion.

9. You Can Redeem Stuff At The Festival Merch Crafter

The Festival Merch Crafter appears to the right of the stage – just look for the giant lit-up guitar surrounded by schwag. Tap it to see what prizes are available for cashing out. In Week 1, these include various festival decorations, a Polar Bear Shark (yes, really), and Makeover Meg, who you need to do most of the first batch of quests. To craft some merch, tap “GET” to see what items you need. Makeover Meg can be unlocked instantly for 300 clams, but she’s free if you collect 350 glowsticks and 100 guitar picks. Protip: perform concerts for guitar picks!

10. Download The Latest Version to Get Started

PeterPalooza requires that you be on the latest version of the game, which they just released on the App Store, Amazon and Google Play. Once you’ve updated, your old friend Snoop Dogg will prompt you to restart the game. If you’re just starting the game, this means you need to play through the first few quests. But don’t worry, it doesn’t take long! Once you’ve completed Districts 1 and 2, you’ll see a popup that the event’s about to start. Pro tip: hit “GO” to begin. Good luck!
